How do I set up Google Location and Maps in AdFox?
To enable Google Location and Maps functionality in your marketplace, you'll need to obtain a Google API key. Here's how:
- Visit the Google Cloud Console (https://console.cloud.google.com/)
- Create a new project:
- Click 'Create Project'
- Enter your project name
- Click 'Create'
- Enable required APIs:
- Go to 'Enable APIs and Services'
- Search for and enable these APIs:
- Maps JavaScript API
- Places API
- Geocoding API
- Create API Key:
- Navigate to 'Credentials' in the sidebar
- Click 'Create Credentials'
- Select 'API Key'
- Copy your new API key
- Secure your API key (recommended):
- Click on the newly created API key
- Under 'Application restrictions', set to 'HTTP referrers'
- Add your website domain to restrict access
